Life Choices

Life Choices is the dynamic abstinence education program of Central Texas LifeCare, dedicated to providing current and applicable information on how to gain and maintain healthy relationships while avoiding risky behaviors and the consequences of such behaviors. Our program is developed specifically to educate, equip and inspire young people to protect their heart, body, mind and spirit.

Program Information

• We offer professional and lively abstinence education presentations for schools, churches, and community groups. Each presentation delivers accurate/culturally relevant information in a non-judgmental atmosphere.
• The Life Choices program uses a combination of W.A.I.T Training curriculum (http://www.myrelationshipcenter.org/WAIT Training) and medically accurate info from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (http://www.cdc.gov/std/default.htm).
• We offer confidential peer support, accurate/up-to-date information on sexually transmitted diseases/infections, and limited STD testing.

ALL OUR SERVICES ARE FREE AND CONFIDENTIAL

Presentation Information

• One-time presentations typically last 45 minutes – 1 hour.
• Consecutive presentation series are available upon request (example: 3, 6, or 8 weeks).
• Presentations are given by medical professionals, teachers, social workers, and trained volunteers and staff members. Our presenters are fun, creative, energetic, and love interacting with students.
• NOTE: All presentations can be tailored to your group’s specific needs.
